Job Description

    Position: Quality and Technical Service
    Location: Corporate Office, Hyderabad
    Reports To: Chief Executive Officer
    Business Unit: Cattle Feed Division

    Responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards in our feed production processes and providing technical expertise to optimize performance. This role involves implementing and managing quality control protocols, conducting inspections, troubleshooting technical issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance overall efficiency.

    Key Results Areas 

     
    Quality Assurance
    • Conduct routine sampling, laboratory testing, and ensure documentation as per SOPs.
    • Support calibration, process control, hygiene, and GMP practices across the plant.
    • Coordinate with production for corrective actions on deviations or non-conformities.
    • Assist in audits (internal/external), ISO compliance, and regulatory requirements. 
     
    Technical Service (Field Support)
    • Provide technical guidance to customers, channel partners, and sales teams on feed usage, storage, nutrition, and animal performance.
    • Conduct on-field farm visits to diagnose issues related to feed, animal health, or management practices.
    • Organise farmer meetings, demonstrations, and training sessions on feed management and animal nutrition.
    • Collect field feedback, performance data, and recommend improvements. 
     
    Customer Complaint Handling
    • Serve as the primary contact for investigating and resolving customer complaints related to feed quality, performance, packing, or delivery issues.
    • Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) through plant data verification, sample testing, and farm visit observations.
    • Document each complaint using the company’s complaint management system, ensuring timely closure and corrective action implementation.
    • Coordinate with production, QC, logistics, and sales teams for fact-finding and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
    • Ensure proper communication with customers regarding findings, solutions, preventive steps, and follow-up satisfaction checks.
    • Track trends in complaints and prepare periodic reports for leadership review. 
     
    Data & Reporting
    • Maintain detailed documentation of QC results, field feedback, complaint registers, RCA reports, and CAPA records.
    • Prepare weekly and monthly technical service reports for management.
    • Support product improvement initiatives by providing field insights and quality trends. 
     
    Training and Development:
    • Conduct training sessions for production staff on quality assurance procedures and best practices.
    • Provide ongoing technical training to ensure the team is equipped with the latest knowledge and skills.
     
    Regulatory Compliance:
    • Stay informed about changes in regulations related to cattle feed production and ensure that the company remains compliant.
    • Collaborate with regulatory agencies during inspections and audits.
